One of Toledo’s crown jewels is its extensive system of Metroparks, which includes over 12,000 acres of beautifully preserved natural areas. With 19 parks and counting, the Metroparks Toledo provide visitors with miles of hiking and biking trails, picnic spots, and opportunities for outdoor activities like camping, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding.
For even more fun, explore the new Glass City Metropark along the Maumee River for stunning views of downtown, and The Ribbon, a roller and ice skating trail within the park.
