Sylvania Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

Honor and remember at Sylvania’s Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, taking place Monday, May 25, 2026, in Sylvania.

One of the largest and most well-attended Memorial Day events in Northwest Ohio, this community tradition brings together residents, veterans groups, and local organizations for a day of reflection and tribute. The morning begins with a memorial service at Toledo Memorial Park at 9:00 a.m., honoring the more than 14,000 veterans laid to rest there.

At 10:15 a.m., the Memorial Day parade steps off from St. Joseph Parish (East Parking Lot), traveling along Main Street through downtown Sylvania before concluding at Veterans Memorial Park. The parade features veterans, community groups, and patriotic displays that reflect the spirit of remembrance and gratitude.

Following the parade, attendees are invited to gather at Veterans Memorial Park for the official Memorial Day Ceremony at 11:00 a.m., where the community comes together to pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed.
