THE GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE
On April 8, 2024, The Toledo region and much of Ohio experienced a total solar eclipse! Visitors from across the state and the nation experienced totality here for approximately 1 minute and 47 seconds. We will never forget this once-in-a-lifetime experience as people gathered together to share in something bigger than ourselves.
Several beloved Toledo attractions hosted safe and memorable watch parties for locals and visitors to enjoy the eclipse. We are so thankful to have collaborative local agencies that were willing to come together to highlight our region during this celestial occurrence! Above are photos from some of those watch parties at Imagination Station, Glass City Metropark, Hensville, The University of Toledo, and Franklin Park Mall, among so many others.
