Experience Toledo’s robust arts scene in a variety of ways! The arts scene in Toledo has long been a source of pride throughout the region, with a diverse collection of artists continually wowing audiences through their artistic creations and performances.

Visitors regularly flock to the Toledo Museum of Art—considered one of the top-rated museums in the world—to experience the over 30,000 works of art on display across its four and a half acres of floor space. Featuring ancient relics, masterworks from greats like Van Gogh and Monet, and cutting edge modern art, the museum’s collection is breathtaking. Not to be missed is the Museum’s adjacent Glass Pavilion, home to one of the largest glass collections in the world, located directly across the street.
But the area’s celebrated arts scene is more than our world-class museum, with numerous smaller galleries, studios and performing arts venues throughout the area highlighting the region’s artistic and musical talent. Spending an evening with the acclaimed Toledo Symphony Orchestra is a truly transformative experience, with the area’s most talented musicians performing concerts that cover musical territory ranging from classic to contemporary. Music lovers and theatergoers can revel in a variety of performances at several area venues, including the Valentine Theatre, the Toledo Repertoire Theatre and the timeless Peristyle Theatre, housed within the Toledo Museum of Art. Take in a performance from the Toledo Opera, Toledo Ballet, Toledo Jazz Orchestra, or one of the many local musical acts and theater troupes that call Toledo home.
