Don’t miss the 2025 Greater Toledo Classic hosted by Stacy Lewis, July 25th – July 27th at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio. Here is everything you need to know to attend this first-of-it’s-kind collaboration between the Legends of the LPGA and Epson Tour.
For over 40 years, some of the top women’s golfers in the sport and fans far and wide have flocked to the Toledo region and Highland Meadows Golf Course for one memorable event. It’s taken many names over the years, from the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic to the Marathon Classic and the Dana Open, and now the Greater Toledo Classic hosted by Stacy Lewis, however the spirit of the of the beloved annual tournament remains the same; incredible female players from all over the world competing, and the mission to give back to deserving charities
The Tournament
The Greater Toledo Classic is a dual event between the Legends of the LPGA and Epson Tour. The tournament will be hosted by Toledo native Stacy Lewis, a 2-time Solheim Cup captain & 13-time LPGA winner.
This tournament marks the first time that the Legends of the LPGA and Epson Tours have collaborated on an event. The Legends and Epson players will be competing separately during this 3-day, 54-hole stroke play tournament. The field will feature 102 Epson Tour players and 42 LPGA Legends who will play with their respective tours for the first two rounds. Following the 36-hole cut, for the final round, the tours will be integrated. After the final round two champions will be crowned, one Legends of the LPGA player and one Epson Tour player.
The Legends of the LPGA is the official senior tour of the LPGA for professionals and eligible amateurs, age 45 and over. Known as the “Road to the LPGA”, the Epson Tour is the most established women’s developmental tour in the world, preparing the world’s best young women professional golfers for a successful career on the LPGA Tour.
What are the differences between previous tournaments and the 2025 event? Toledo Classic, Inc. is committed to maintaining the standard that it’s set over the past 40 years. As a spectator, the course and structures will look the same! The key differences are:
- The Field of Players: Instead of LPGA Professionals, Epson Tour and LPGA Legends will be competing.
- The Number of Days: The 2025 Greater Toledo Classic will be a 3-day, 54-hole stroke play tournament, rather than a 4-day 72-hole event.
- The Competition: Two champions (one Epson Tour and one LPGA Legend) will be crowned after the final round on Sunday July 27th as opposed to one champion.
