SPORTS INVENTORY OVERVIEW (PDF)Toledo has a storied history of sports dating back to the turn of the nineteenth century when the now world-famous Toledo Mud Hens first dusted off their cleats. After decades of growth, the Toledo region’s sports scene stands ready to host your next event.
Whether you need space for a cheerleading competition, a soccer tournament, or a baseball championship, the Toledo area has the perfect facility to fit your needs. Pacesetter Park in Sylvania is a 138-acre multi-use sports complex that is maintained with the highest care. Pacesetter Park houses eight (8) fully lighted baseball and softball diamonds, 25-30 soccer fields, concession stands and restroom facilities along with a 30,000 square foot Skateboard Plaza. South of Toledo, there are two indoor soccer arenas that are perfectly equipped for tournaments. Downtown, the SeaGate Convention Centre has been host to gymnastics and dance competitions, wrestling tournaments, and volleyball championships.
Over the years, we’ve been host to just about every sporting event you can name. All across Toledo, there are venues built for competition and hotels built to handle the crowds that come with it.
