From beginners to experienced climbers, Adventus Climbing Center creates space for anyone to climb. We are a family-friendly, full-service indoor rock-climbing gym with the goal of building healthy people, healthy families, and healthy communities.

The 12,000 square foot climbing center features bouldering, top rope, auto-belays, and lead climbing, in addition to a fitness area, retail and a party room available for groups. The outdoor space has bicycle parking and will have a fire pit and a slackline.

We are located just minutes away from Interstate 475/23 and adjacent to the Toledo Metroparks University/Parks Trail.

Heritage Sylvania is a multi-site history experience located in historic Sylvania. We present national history through a local lens: Historical Village is a collection of historic buildings including an 1840s log home and Sylvania’s original 1850s train Depot, telling the story of the development of NW Ohio.

• The Lathrop House is the only Underground Railroad site in NW Ohio open to the public. Learn the about the Lathrops and the enslaved peoples that stopped on their way to freedom.
• The Cooke/Kuhlman Home is the home and office of Dr. Uriah Cooke an early 20th century physician.
• The Archives is a vast resource of documents, photos and personal telling the history of the families and businesses in our area.

Sylvania Pacesetter Park is a 138 acre multi-use sports complex. This facility hosts tens of thousands of youth and adult leagues, teams and tournaments each year. The premier turf fields (Kentucky Bluegrass/Ryegrass) are maintained with the highest care – serving the varying needs of soccer, lacrosse, flag football and rugby.

The park’s eight (8) fully lighted baseball and softball diamonds rival any in the Midwest. Pacesetter is the annual host to countless youth and adult baseball/softball leagues; as well as being a regular host of USSA Softball tournaments.

Pacesetter offers concession and restroom facilities in close proximity. Pacesetter offers recreational opportunities for all ages; from our18,000 square foot playground to the open air shelters and walking/jogging paths.
