Genoa, Ohio is a village in Ottawa County, less than 30 minutes southeast of downtown Toledo. It may be best known as the home of Packer Creek Pottery, dedicated to creating beautiful and functional handmade pottery since 1979. Each piece is carefully hand-painted and line the store’s shelves and tables beckoning visitors with their bright, whimsical charm.
The historic downtown is lined with many quaint shops and restaurants. And history buffs will delight in the picturesque grandeur of the Historic Town Hall built in 1883. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, it is classified as the oldest free-standing municipal building in Ottawa County.
