Elmore, Ohio is a village in Ottawa and Sandusky Counties and is located 30 minutes southeast of Toledo on the banks of the Portage River. Elmore is perhaps best known for Schedel Arboretum & Gardens, one of the most beautiful and perhaps most unique natural attractions in Ohio. 

Elmore has strong roots in its past with an active historical society, many antique stores and has maintained its small-town atmosphere. Tour the Elmore Train Depot or the Heckman Log Cabin, then head over to Wine Flight to sample wines or craft beers. The Portage Inn is a local tradition for those craving pizza and pub grub, and check out one of our many unique annual events like the Portage River Festival in June, Grub ‘n Suds Motorcycle Rally in September and Count Krumnow’s Tombstone Derby in October.
