This unique workshop offers a fantastic opportunity for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers to capture stunning images of a variety of reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods.
During the workshop, attendees will have exclusive access to the Zoo's herpetology collection in a studio-like setting, allowing for up-close and personal encounters with the animals. From slithering snakes to colorful frogs, you'll have the chance to photograph these fascinating creatures in a controlled and safe environment.
In addition to photographing the animals, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from a zoo photographer and zookeeper who will be on hand to offer tips and tricks for capturing the perfect shot. These experts will also provide educational insights into the behaviors and habitats of the animals, helping to deepen your understanding and appreciation of these incredible creatures.
But that's not all - the workshop also offers the chance to photograph venomous snakes, with trained professionals ensuring the safety of both the animals and the attendees. It's a rare and thrilling opportunity to capture images of some of the most fascinating and feared creatures on the planet.
The workshop will conclude with a brief tour of the animal exhibits found in the ProMedica Museum of Natural History where participants will learn a few tips and tricks to photograph various species on exhibit. This will also provide an opportunity to photograph the animals in a natural-looking environment.
