The Toledo Symphony Orchestra and Steven Jarvi pay tribute to the Greatest Generation - Those brave men and women who fought the battle lines of World War II and who kept America moving forward during wartime. This program celebrates the end of the Second World War with a musical salute to our troops with works by John Philip Sousa, John Williams, and more, plus some of the most beloved melodies from era including Glenn Miller's Moondust and Max Steiner's music from Casablanca. The program concludes with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
