Join TMA for this year's block party, a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and community! This free event welcomes the whole family to enjoy live performances, local food vendors, and engaging art-making activities. Embrace the diversity of Toledo!
Schedule of Events:
- 3-3:30 p.m.: Glass City Steel, Toledo School for the Arts’ steel drum band.
- 3-7 p.m.: Large-scale interactive art installation created during the Block Party by community members attending the Block Party and Gerard Nadeau, a local artist and BGSU professor of architecture.
- 3:45-4:30 p.m.: DJ Marc Folk, president and chief executive officer, The Arts Commission.
- 4-6 p.m.: Birds Eye View Circus performance
- 4:30-4:45 p.m.: Adam Levine presents Key to the Museum to this year’s awardee Steven Ahn, corporate strategy lead, Owens Corning.
- 4:45-5:45 p.m.: Island Guys, a Caribbean steel drum band from Detroit.
- 6-7 p.m.: Headline performance by Ethio Dankira Traditional Group, an Ethiopian music and dance group based in Washington D.C.
