The Taste of Italy Restaurant Week honors and recognizes local restaurants as we lead up to Italian Bowl XLII. All participating restaurant are encouraged to put together a signature drink, entree and dessert. Restaurants do not have to be exclusively Italian cuisine to participate.
On Saturday, June 24 the top 10 restaurants, as selected by the People’s Choice, will be notified that they are eligible for the Judges Choice contest. The Judges Choice competition will be held the evening of Monday, June 26 and televised on Buckeye Cable, judged by local chefs and celebrities. The top winners in both the People’s Choice and the Judge’s Choice will receive their trophies at half-time at the Italian Bowl.
People’s Choice voting will be available on The Blade’s website as well as through a QR code at participating restaurants during Taste of Italy Restaurant Week. More details to come!
