Get ready to launch at Rocket Science Weekend, three fun-filled days that invite you to design and engineer your own rockets. Learn how to send your shuttle soaring with science, explore the aerodynamics of rockets and discover what it takes to go to space. Ignite your excitement... it's time to become a Rocket Scientist.

Liftoff into Adventure:

• Learn about chemical reactions as you set off Alka-Seltzer rockets and see them fly
• Explore the physics of a rocket launch during our water rocket challenge
• Discover aerodynamics and design while making different paper rockets to see how far they go
• Learn about drag, lift and weight during a parachute activity with the UT Rocketry Club
• See large-scale models of rockets and learn about forces
