Lauded as “striking and charismatic…with a bravura technique and soulful musicianship,” by the New York Times, American violinist Rachel Barton Pine performs Tchaikovsky’s only concerto for violin, yet one of the most recognized of its genre. Beethoven’s “little symphony in F,” his eighth and Bach’s third Brandenburg Concerto for three violins, three violas, three cellos and harpsichord round out the program.

After a 21-year effort by the Board of Trustees and the community, the $28 million renovation was unveiled on October 9, 1999. Since the Gala re-opening, nearly 1,340,000 people have attended 2,760 international, national and area presentations, weddings and events.
