In this workshop, you will learn how to create beautiful works of decorative and functional art by layering art glass to be fused in Jill's studio kiln after class. You will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of creating glass objects in the kiln and then make a 7” x 7” fused and slumped glass plate or trivet. Each student will create their own unique glass “painting” featuring a Schedel Garden scene through the use of glass powder and other small pieces of colored glass. This popular class is tailored to beginners and advanced students. Finished work will be available for pick up in 1 or 2 weeks.
No experience with glass is required for this course. Fee is $41.90 and includes all project supplies, use of equipment, kiln firing and art glass.
