July 4, 1813 was a day of festivity at Fort Meigs. Soldiers fired 18 shots from cannons in a National Salute and spent the day celebrating the founding of the nation they were defending. Join us as we recreate Independence Day 1813 with weapons demos, historic music presentations, and civilian activities.
Admission:
$12 for Adults, $10 for Seniors, $7 for Children, Free: Children 5 & under, Fort Meigs Annual Pass holders and Ohio History Connection Members
