Learn about American Christmas Holiday Traditions over the years. Your holiday trolley tour will begin at the Witmer-Roth Home circa 1850. Help set the table and learn about historic holiday food recipes as we prepare the holiday meal. The next stop is the Peter Stuckey home circa 1880 to learn about home holiday decorations and gift giving of the time.Guests will also enjoy making a festive craft. Your holiday trolley will move into the modern age with a visit to the Elmira Depot. Here guests will enjoy browsing through Sears Roebuck & Co catalogs of yesteryear while learning about train travel in 1920. The last holiday trolley stop will be at our Grime house where you will be dazzled with 1920s holiday decorations, help decorate a tree and frost cookies in the kitchen. From there, you will walk to St. Mark’s Lutheran church to learn about and sing favorite holiday carols.
