This program features two timeless works of classical chamber music - Antonin Dvorak's String Quintet No. 3 in E-Flat Major, Op. 97 and Franz Schubert's Piano Trio No. 1 in B-Flat Major, Op. 99.
Dvorak's String Quintet No. 3 is a masterful composition that is filled with lyrical melodies, rich harmonic texture, and rhythmic vitality. The quintet is composed for two violins, two violas, and cello, and it presents a delightful interplay between instruments.
Schubert's Piano Trio No. 1 is a lively, buoyant work, with unrivaled lyricism throughout. Composed for piano, violin, and cello, this large-scale work still provides an intimate feeling.
