Join in on a delightful culinary journey celebrating the rich and diverse flavors of the Congo! In commemoration of Black History Month, the Lucas County Public Library's cultural cooking series takes you on a gastronomic adventure right here in Toledo.
Featuring the talented Chef Mae (Merveilles Tshitenge), this event promises a unique experience as she showcases the art of Congolese cuisine. Indulge your taste buds with a variety of delectable dishes, including Congo's famed coleslaw, aromatic rice, mouthwatering mikate, flavorful tshaka madesu, and succulent grilled chicken.
