IT'S BACK!!! The Elmore Historical Society will be holding it's 16th annual Tombstone Derby 

We have put together a tentative schedule but are working on adding even more events fun for the entire family!! We would really like to start building our "Motorized Casket" entries back up and we need your help!! Any individual, organization or business is encouraged to participate in our event. Just decorate up a riding lawnmower, four wheeler, go cart or something similar for yourselves or your business or organization. Use your imagination to create your Halloween themed vehicle!! Not only will you be participating in our games but will also be part of our parade through town!! Some of the entries we have had from businesses include: Red, White and Brew, Genoa Bank, Haunted Hydro and the Woodmore FFA!!

We have put together a tentative schedule and will be adding even more events as the Tombstone Derby gets closer!!!!

11:00-3:00 Halloween Fun Food Served at the Historical Society Barn

11:30-12:00 Halloween Pet Costume Contest (Awards Follow)

12:10-12: 30 Kids' Halloween Costume Contest (Awards Follow)

12:40-1:10 Parade of Fools (Includes motorized caskets, pets, kids, bicycles, hearses and anybody else that wants to participate!) Bring your noise makers! (All kids participating will get in the parade will receive Halloween Bag of Treats and Fun Things)

1:15-1:35 Body Parts Toss

1:40-2:00 Cadaver Toss

2:10-2:40 Pumpkin Chunking Contest (Kids 12 and under)

2:45-3:15 Motorized Casket Games

3:25 Tombstone Derby

3:45 Motorized Casket Awards Ceremony
