Learn how to extend your growing season with Vicki Gallagher of the 577 Foundation.
A cold frame is a transparent-roofed enclosure, used to protect plants from excessive cold or wet weather. The transparent top admits sunlight and prevents heat escape via convection that would otherwise occur, particularly at night. Essentially, a cold frame functions as a miniature greenhouse to extend the growing season. Come and learn about using a cold frame and take home lots of ideas for you to design your own.
$5 per person to attend. Please register and pay in advance.
