Ohio’s Homecoming & Picnic at TMA
Celebrate community, creativity, and America’s 250th birthday at Ohio’s Homecoming & Picnic at TMA on July 11 at the Toledo Museum of Art. Part of the statewide America 250-Ohio celebration, this free public event invites guests of all ages to gather on the Glass Pavilion Lawn for an afternoon filled with art, music, food, and interactive experiences.
The celebration also coincides with the Toledo Museum of Art’s 125th Anniversary, making this a unique opportunity to honor both Ohio’s history and one of Toledo’s most iconic cultural institutions. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy live performances, hands-on art activities, living history interpreters, games, community partner booths, food trucks, and live glassblowing demonstrations inside the museum’s Hot Shop.
Highlights include a headline performance by Chavar Dontae and Ensemble, along with a special directors’ conversation reflecting on 125 years of the Toledo Museum of Art’s history. Whether attending for the live entertainment, creative activities, or community atmosphere, Ohio’s Homecoming & Picnic at TMA offers something for everyone in a vibrant summer setting.
