Greater Toledo to Walk for Mental Health — Because No One Walks Alone
Mental health conditions affect 1 in 5 Americans directly, and the rest through loved ones. NAMIWalks exists to
let everyone know: you are not alone. On Saturday, May 17 with the walk starting at 11 AM, at Middlegrounds Metropark hundreds of Greater Toledo residents will lace up and show up for NAMIWalks Greater Toledo, a free, inclusive, and high-energy event that supports mental health
awareness and builds community around the message: “Mental Health for All.”
Hosted at the scenic Middlegrounds Metropark, the walk is family-friendly, dog-friendly, and accessibility-
friendly, ensuring everyone—regardless of ability—can participate and feel welcomed. The day will include local vendors, community partners, food trucks, games, face painting, photo booths, and more.
Friends, families, and allies will fill the park to show up for
one another, to walk in unity, and to celebrate a shared commitment to mental wellness and belonging.
Funds raised during the walk support NAMI Greater Toledo’s no-cost, award-winning education programs,
peer-led support groups, and advocacy efforts, which empower individuals and families facing mental
health challenges every day.
ACCESSIBLE: The event is open to all and accommodates individuals of all physical abilities
Registration is free, and participants who raise $100 or more receive an official event T-shirt. Whether you
walk in honor of a loved one, for your own healing, or for the future of mental health in Toledo, your
participation matters. To sign up, donate, or start a team, visit namiwalks.org/greatertoledo.
Walk for awareness. Walk for connection. Walk so no one walks the mental health journey alone.
