Model Con 419

MODEL CON 419 BRINGS THE WORLD IN MINIATURE TO NW OHIO!

The second annual MODEL CON 419 welcomes plastic modelers from all over the Midwest to compete in a judged competition and to shop from a wide array of vendors on Saturday May 24.

MODEL CON 419 is the only show of its kind in Northwest Ohio organized by IPMS/Fremont KitBashers and IPMS/Toledo Plastic Modelers chapters and is sanctioned by the International Plastic Modelers Society/USA.

The judged model contest will be divided into 57 categories, with subjects ranging from Aircraft and Military Vehicles to Spacecraft and Dinosaurs. There are also Junior and Teens categories to allow younger modelers to compete. Trophies will be awarded for First, Second, and Third Places, along with “Best Ofs” in each category; also, 4 Special Awards will be given for particular subjects.

Over 30 vendor tables will be loaded with a variety of model kits, books, tools and supplies at prices well below those of brick-and-mortar stores. In addition, there will be an all-day raffle with even more kits and modeling supplies up for grabs. The show will close at about 5:00 pm.
