Independence Day 1813
Celebrate Independence Day 1813 style! Join Fort Meigs as their historic interpreters recreate the 18 shot National Salute that soldiers fired at Fort Meigs on Independence Day in 1813.
The event runs from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. The 18 shot salute takes place at 2:00 p.m. Other activities include special guided tours of the fort, musket demonstrations, army field music, and a three-shots-a-minute musket competition between their re-enactors.

Free: Children under 5, Fort Meigs Annual Pass holders, Ohio History Connection members, and active military.
