Ten breweries and three wineries will offer samples and a local mixologist will make 1920s cocktails during the seventh-annual Craft Beers, Cocktails & Corks at Spiegel Grove on Saturday, Aug 23.
The event is from 4 to 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums. The VIP ticketed experience will begin at 3 p.m.
Craft Beers, Cocktails & Corks ticket holders can enjoy beer and wine samples, as well as choose a handcrafted 1920s-themed cocktail by mixologist Dave Spridgon, food truck fare, live music by the Bridge County Bluegrass Band and raffles.
VIP ticket holders get all of those benefits plus a VIP-only tent with seating, hors d’oeuvres, three drinks not included in the main event and a commemorative pint glass. The VIP tent will be open to VIP ticket holders throughout the evening.
Participating breweries are Brewing Green of Bowling Green, Buffalo Rock of Waterville, Double Wing Brewing of Cleveland, Earnest Brew Works of Toledo, Findlay Brewing Co. of Findlay, Inside the Five of Sylvania, Laird Aracade Brewery of Tiffin, Oncore Brewing of Swanton, Twin Oast Brewing of Catawba Island and UrbanWoody Brewery of Fostoria.
Participating wineries are Chateau Winery of Helena, Copper Whale Winery of Clyde and White Stag Winery of Gibsonburg.
Food trucks will be on site, but is not included with admission price.
Seating is limited, so attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs and can spread out on the shady and expansive grounds. Attendees must be 21 years old or older and have valid ID.
VIP tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, and cost $100 per person.
