America250 Lecture Series | Lost Eateries of Toledo

The Wood County History Museum hosts Table for None: Lost Toledo Eateries, a nostalgic program exploring the restaurants that once shaped Toledo’s neighborhoods and culture. Presented by local author and storyteller Tedd Long, this engaging talk brings to life the stories behind beloved diners, supper clubs, taverns, and family-run establishments that have since disappeared. Through historic photos, menus, and personal anecdotes, attendees will discover how these eateries reflected the city’s evolving tastes, industries, and communities. Guests are encouraged to reminisce and share their own memories of Toledo’s dining past.

The program takes place on May 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free for museum members and $7 for non-members, with tickets including a self-guided tour of the museum.
