Acoustics for Autism

Acoustics for Autism is a free, all-day music festival held in Maumee, bringing the community together to support families affected by autism through Project iAm.

Now in its 19th year, Acoustics for Autism has grown into the largest free music festival in the country, featuring more than 100 bands across 10 stages throughout downtown Maumee. The event also includes food trucks, kids’ activities, merchandise, silent auctions, and family-friendly entertainment—all at no cost to attend.

Designed with inclusion at its core, the festival offers sensory-friendly spaces for children who may feel overwhelmed by crowds or sound. Locations like the Sunshine Art Studio and the Maumee Indoor Theater provide quieter, controlled environments with art activities and movies. Heated tents, accessible stages, and shuttle services further enhance comfort and accessibility for families.

Proceeds from merchandise sales, donations, and the silent auction directly support Project iAm, helping local families afford therapies, services, and specialized equipment not always covered by insurance.

Taking place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, Acoustics for Autism is more than a music festival, it’s a celebration of community, inclusion, and meaningful support for families navigating autism. Music lovers, families, and visitors are encouraged to attend, volunteer, or donate to help continue the event’s lasting impact.
