Bringing an expected 5,000+ athletes, families, and spectators to Toledo. The tournament features some of the top youth volleyball players in the country from USA Volleyball (USAV), Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), and Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) teams.

“We’re thrilled to be kicking off 2024 with the Glass City Gauntlet volleyball tournament. The Glass City Center has proven to be a desirable and excellent host for a variety of sporting events,” says Nick Anderson, Sports Relationship Manager at Destination Toledo. "This is the start of an exciting year of events taking place at the Toledo area’s outstanding sports and recreation facilities.”

The Glass City Gauntlet is organized by Hype Nation, an organization committed to expanding the sport of volleyball through tournaments, education, and player engagement. Hype Nation is powered by the Sports Facilities Companies and the SF Network, the industry’s largest and fastest growing network of sports tourism and recreation facilities, events, talent, and vendors.

Matches take place from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Saturday the 6th, and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday the 7th at the Glass City Center. For more tournament details, schedules, and admission information click here.
