Destination Toledo is proud to announce the successful conclusion of Coffee Quest 419, a three-month adventure that encouraged coffee enthusiasts to explore Toledo’s thriving coffee scene.
From August 1 to October 31, coffee lovers checked in at 27 participating local coffee shops, generating an estimated $222,000 of economic activity throughout the Toledo region.
This year’s Coffee Quest 419 saw an impressive 4,800 participants, logging more than 30,000 check-ins. The trail offered participants the chance to win road trip themed prizes like an exclusive sticker, a commemorative t-shirt, and entry into a grand prize drawing for those who completed the entire trail. A total of 755 participants earned their t-shirts by visiting at least 23 locations and 260 of those people visited all 27 locations. This year’s prizes were proudly printed by local apparel company and sponsor, Jupmode.
“This event is all about celebrating our local coffee shops and connecting people to the small businesses that make Toledo special. Coffee Questers really embraced the experience, trying new drinks, sharing photos, and supporting local businesses they may have never tried.” said Lexi Burton with Destination Toledo. “We also know that not only did Toledoans participate in Coffee Quest 419, but 17% of participants were from outside the region.” added Burton.
Coffee Quest 419 is set to return in 2025 with dates, theme, prizes, and participants to be announced by Destination Toledo next year. Follow @CoffeeQuest419 on Instagram and Facebook for all the latest updates on the trail.
