Ring in the New Year in the Glass City!

The Ribbon at Glass City Metropark

The Ribbon at Glass City Metropark is a 1,000 foot loop trail featuring rolling hills and soft curves for a uniquely Metroparks winter ice skating experience. The Ribbon is connected to a 5,000 square foot skating pond that offers a traditional ice rink experience for beginners and a series of special events and programs. This is the first year that The Ribbon will be open for the Holidays.

Skate on The Ribbon, rent a cabana for you and your crew, and have a bite at The Garden by Poco Piatti during these sessions:

Assembly | American Brasserie

Head downtown to the first floor of the Hiltons for an unforgettable evening filled with good food, great company, and a lively celebration.
What to expect:

The Heights

A spectacular rooftop bar on the top floor of the Renaissance Hotel, offering 360-degree sweeping skyline views, an impressive modern design and unique hand-crafted cocktails and cuisine. 

This NYE they are hosting a New Year's Eve Party

Get ready to dazzle in your finest attire as The Heights transforms into a glamorous New York City night!

Enjoy a delicious dinner buffet, dance the night away with sounds by Javi at Rico Sounds, and capture the moment in our photo booth. Don't forget the midnight champagne toast! 

 

 

The Hollywood Casino 

A popular destination in Toledo. You'll never run out of ways to play with 1,700 hot slots and 125,000 square feet of thrilling casino action. They also have great food, and entertainment!

On NYE they will bring in popular local band The Skittle Bots.

The Skittle Bots are a Toledo-based cover band that strictly sticks to the best songs from one of the best decades of modern music. While the band plays mostly Alternative/Pop-Rock, we love to keep the party going during set breaks with your favorite Pop/Hip-Hop dance tunes from the 90's, too. Join us for an overdose of nostalgia - hear all the songs you clearly remember growing up with!

Enjoy the show, try your luck, and eat delicious food all within the venue with free admission.

 

 

Maumee Bay Brewing Company

A historic local brewery, MBBC offers craft beers and pub eats. Their warehouse event space can be transformed to match any occasion and this year they are hosting a New Year's Eve party!

It will be a night of live music, dancing, and endless fun. Tickets are $55 per person and include heavy grazing style food to enjoy all night, 2 drink tickets (cash bar after that) and a champagne toast at
midnight!

Ring in the NEW YEAR at the stroke of NOON!

Gather in the Main Plaza to enjoy crafts, an ice carving demo and an apple juice toast as you watch the ball rise at noon! Make your 2025 Re-ZOO-lutions and don’t miss your favorite animals enjoying their holiday enrichment treats!

Toledo’s Science Center is dedicated to making science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fun and accessible. There are hundreds of interactive, hands-on exhibits that are exciting and educational for the entire family.

Whether you only have an hour or you have all day, there is plenty to see and do at Imagination Station. 

Join in on the fun as they welcome 2025 by dropping 23,000 bouncy balls throughout the building on New Year's Eve Eve — Monday, December 30 at 2:25pm.

 

 

Swedish New Year & Meatball Drop

Head to a New Year’s Eve Party and meatball contest at Quenched & Tempered, where they will be ringing in the new year based on Sweden’s time zone, 6 p.m. our time.

Join in for the celebration and sampling of meatballs, or bring your own meatballs to enter the contest, which will be evaluated by a panel of judges.

Competing meatball dishes must arrive by 5 p.m. to enter, and the winner will be announced at 6 p.m. when the countdown to midnight Sweden-time begins. They'll finish up by 8 for anyone who wants to turn in early, or in time to get you to your next New Year’s Eve party.
