Glass City JazzFest 2024: Highlights and Must-See Performances in Toledo

Bring your lawn chairs, chill and enjoy a full day of jazz music along the riverfront in Toledo!

Glass City JazzFest is a free, family-friendly event held at Glass City Metropark on August 10th from 1 p.m. until sunset. Located along the Maumee River in Toledo, the festival features a full day of diverse jazz performances, from Traditional to Smooth Jazz. Organized in collaboration with local entities, the event invites attendees to enjoy live music, food, and local arts and crafts amidst scenic views.

Toledo Jazz Week

Leading up to the Glass City JazzFest there will be will be an exciting, week-long celebration of local jazz artists from the Toledo area that will be showcased at choice venues throughout the City of Toledo, called Toledo Jazz Week! From August 5-9, Toledo Jazz Week will help build momentum and anticipation for the Glass City Jazzfest on Saturday, August 10.

Festival Map & Reserved Seating Option

General admission to the Glass City JazzFest is free, however, there is a reserved seating package for those individuals or organizations who are interested.

This reserved area includes:

> Seating close to the stage

> Round table with an umbrella which seats 6 people

> Complimentary beverages

> Food catered by Focaccia's

> Access to the pavilion rooftop

> Optional listing in the festival program book.

The reservation deadline is August 5, 2024.

 

 

Additional Info about Glass City Metropark, Parking and ADA Compliance 

Glass City Metropark has quickly become a year-round destination for fun and community celebrations, set against the backdrop of the Maumee River and the downtown Toledo skyline. With its vibrant atmosphere and variety of amenities, this new park has welcomed more than 500,000 visitors (and counting) since the opening of Phase 2 in June 2023.

Parking & Transportation

There is ample parking in several different flat lots around the park. In addition on site parking, to special shuttle service provided by TARTA will be available to and from Franklin Park Mall, and to and from the parking lot at The Docks. TARTA recommends riders purchase a $3 day pass through the EZfare mobile app (select TARTA as your transit provider). EZfare | Your Bus Pass. Anytime. Anywhere. | Ohio | Kentucky | Michigan. ADA and senior parking and shuttle service will be available at Waite High School parking lot.

The Glass City JazzFest website is WCAG and ADA compliant, with the inclusion of the accessiBE, and the festival planners have designated parking for seniors and people with disabilities which includes a shuttle service to and from the festival grounds. There will also be golf carts available to patrons that need assistance from the shuttle stop into the festival grounds, to/from bathrooms, vendor area, beverage tents, and food trucks.
