Fresh Changes Coming to the Beloved Annual Coffee Trail in 2024
Destination Toledo is excited to announce its new management of Coffee Quest 419, an established annual coffee trail in the Toledo region highlighting the local coffee scene.
This year, Coffee Quest 419 will transition from a paper passport to a mobile-exclusive passport and is set to take place in the fall.
“Coffee Quest 419 has become a beloved tradition in the Toledo coffee community, and we’re thrilled to see it continue to grow under the management of Destination Toledo,” said Rich Jambor, Owner of Maddie & Bella Coffee Roasters. “With their teams’ expertise and the shift to the mobile platform, I’m certain they will make it a great experience for both local and visiting coffee lovers!”
Coffee Quest 419 was originally created and run by a small group of participating coffee shops. With this transition, Destination Toledo will manage the existing Coffee Quest 419 social media pages and utilize their partnership with technology company, Bandwango, to take the passport digital. Destination Toledo has enjoyed previous success with Bandwango’s digital platform, using it to operate the popular 419 Ale Trail, a gamified mobile passport promoting Northwest Ohio’s craft beverage scene. Like the 419 Ale Trail, Coffee Quest 419 participants will check in at each location and win prizes along the way.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with the local coffee shops and managing Coffee Quest 419. This directly aligns with our mission to promote and support Toledo’s local businesses" said Caleigh Heuring, Director of Marketing and Communications at Destination Toledo. "It’s amazing how popular Coffee Quest 419 has been in years past and we’re so excited to be involved and help draw even more people to check out our coffee scene.”
More details regarding this year’s dates, participating coffee shops, prizes, and more will be shared through the Coffee Quest 419 Facebook and Instagram pages as well as Destination Toledo’s social media and website, VisitToledo.org.
