Destination Toledo is proud to announce that President and CEO, Lance Woodworth, has been reappointment by Governor Mike DeWine to serve on the TourismOhio Advisory Board.
Woodworth’s term began November 8, 2024, and ends September 27, 2027.
“I’m honored receive this reappointment to the TourismOhio Advisory Board by Governor DeWine.” said Woodworth. “This position allows me to help shine a light on Northwest Ohio and the Toledo region by having our voice heard at the state level. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to work in supporting tourism, not only in this area but throughout the great state of Ohio”.
Last month, Woodworth also received the 2024 Paul Sherlock Legend in Ohio Travel Award by the Ohio Travel Association, regarded as the Ohio travel industry’s highest honor. Lance Woodworth became President and CEO of Destination Toledo in 2020 and has spent more than two decades in service to Ohio’s travel and tourism industry.
