Coffee Quest 419 Announces List of Participating Local Coffee Shops, New Theme, and Prizes for 2024

Hit the road August 1 - October 31 to taste your way through Toledo’s coffee trail

Toledo, OH - July 1, 2024 – Coffee Quest 419, the beloved coffee trail in the Toledo region, returns this August. Organized by area coffee shops since 2018, the quest is now managed by Destination Toledo with this year’s edition boasting an expanded lineup of 27 participating coffee shops, a fresh “Road Trip” theme, and exciting new prizes. From August 1 to October 31, coffee enthusiasts can celebrate local culture and community while exploring their favorite coffee spots and discovering new ones.

“We’re building on the incredible foundation laid by the original coffee shops,” says Lexi Burton, Destination Toledo’s Leisure Sales Marketing Specialist. “We’ve listened to feedback and made several exciting changes. The event has been extended to three months, includes more locally owned coffee shops, offers additional prizes, and now features a digital passport. Whether you make only a few stops or complete the whole quest, it’s a great celebration of coffee and Toledo!”

Each year’s Coffee Quest 419 has sported a unique theme. This year’s theme, “Road Trip,” captures the spirit of a journey through the 419 area, complete with Route 66-inspired elements meticulously designed by local graphic artist Jacob Parr. “Coffee Quest 419 essentially takes you on a road trip around the Toledo region,” explains Parr. “It fosters community, offers a delightful activity for friends and family, and encourages exploration of our vibrant Toledo coffee scene. So buckle up, folks!”

As in years past, finishers of Coffee Quest 419 are rewarded with a t-shirt, proudly printed by CQ419 sponsor Jupmode. Additionally, Destination Toledo has added more opportunities to win prizes with a Coffee Quest 419 Sticker and Grand Prize Drawing. “We wanted to make sure visitors and more casual quest participates had an opportunity to win a prize too” added Burton.

Participants can now pre-sign up for their digital passport at VisitToledo.org/CoffeeQuest419, the digital passport will be live starting August 1. Similar to the longstanding 419 Ale Trail, which recently launched its fourth year, Destination Toledo has partnered with technology company, Bandwango, to offer the free digital passport.
