July 1-3 | Toledo Mud Hens Games at Fifth Third Field
The Mud Hens welcome back the Cleveland Guardians’ AAA affiliate, the Columbus Clippers, for a three-game homestand to kick off the month of July. Kick off the 4th of July weekend early with some Mud Hens Baseball and their largest fireworks show of the season, a light up item giveaway, and postgame concert at Hensville ft. Red Voodoo & Elton Dan and the Rocket Band. (Game ticket includes admission to Hensville concert)
July 3 | Fireworks | Maumee & Perrysburg
Celebrate Independence Day with a shared fireworks show between Perrysburg and Maumee on Thursday, July 3 at 10 p.m. (rain date: July 5). This year, fireworks will launch from a new, higher-elevation site near the Fort Meigs Memorial Bridge off Rapids Road, promising great views across the region. While parking and seating are not allowed on Rapids Road or the bridge, Orleans Park will reopen for spectators, with additional viewing available at Fort Meigs, Riverside Park, and along the Towpath Trail on the Maumee side. Expect about 20–25 minutes of sky-filled sparkle courtesy of American Fireworks.
July 3 | Star Spangled Celebration
Head to Centennial Terrace in Sylvania on July 3 for the annual Star Spangled Celebration, running from 7 p.m. until midnight. The evening features live music, dancing, food vendors, family-friendly activities (think clowns and games), and a dazzling fireworks show set to begin at 10 p.m. Tickets are affordable—typically around $7 for adults and $5 for kids under 12—with a small parking fee. For an alternate viewing option, Sylvania Pacesetter Park offers a clear, complementary vantage point for the fireworks
July 3 | BG Boom Festival & Fireworks
Celebrate early with the BG Boom Festival in Bowling Green on July 3 at the Wood County Fairgrounds. Starting at 4 p.m., this free, family-friendly event features games, inflatables, live music by the Bowling Green Area Community Band, food trucks, and hands-on activities for kids. The night ends with a spectacular Rozzi Fireworks show around dusk—best viewed from the East or North parking lots off Brim Road. Don’t forget to bring aluminum cans to recycle and help support next year’s event!


July 4 | Fireworks Cruises with J&M Cruise Lines
Come aboard the Sandpiper or the Glass City Pearl to experience the best seats in the house for the Downtown Toledo Fireworks! Your ticket includes a two-hour cruise upriver, pizza, soft drinks, and the fireworks show. There will be a time period between arriving back to the dock and the firework show. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, aboard any of of their cruises.
July 4 | Rooftop Experience at The Heights
Experience the Downtown Toledo Fireworks Show in style with an exclusive evening at The Heights. For just $25 per person, guests can enjoy a reserved patio table complete with a nameplate, a delicious appetizer spread, and a complimentary beer or glass of wine. A dedicated server will be on hand throughout the night to ensure a relaxing, personalized experience.
July 4 | City of Toledo Fireworks in the 419
Celebrate Independence Day along the riverfront with the City of Toledo’s annual fireworks display. The show begins at dark and offers great viewing from both sides of the river, making it easy to pick a spot based on where you’re headed afterward. Guests are encouraged to park only in designated paved areas, as restricted zones will be strictly enforced and tow trucks will be active throughout the event.
