One of Toledo’s favorite sports traditions is getting a fresh look. For the first time in a decade, the Toledo Walleye have unveiled new jerseys for the 2026–27 season, giving the team a modernized look while staying rooted in the history and identity that have made T-Town Hockey a Toledo staple. The redesign introduces a new visual identity built around the Walleye’s connection to Toledo and the Great Lakes, with updated colors, details and elements that nod to the team’s past while looking toward its future. After 10 seasons in the previous designs, the new jerseys offer a fresh way for players and fans alike to represent the Glass City every time the team takes the ice.
Of course, a new look doesn’t mean starting over. Head Coach Pat Mikesch returns for his third season behind the bench, bringing continuity to a team that continues to blend experienced veterans with emerging talent. Fan favorites like Brandon Hawkins and Sam Craggs are back in the lineup, giving Toledo fans some familiar faces to rally behind while a new crop of players looks to make its mark. Hawkins is one of the most decorated players in Toledo hockey history and continues to be a favorite among the thousands of fans who pack the Huntington Center throughout the season. His return, along with a mix of returning veterans and new talent, gives Walleye fans plenty to watch for as the season gets underway.
