For over 40 years, some of the top women’s golfers in the sport and fans far and wide have flocked to the Toledo region and Highland Meadows Golf Course for one memorable event. It’s taken many names over the years, from the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic to the Marathon Classic and the Dana Open, and now the Greater Toledo Classic, however the spirit of the of the beloved annual tournament remains the same; incredible female players from all over the world competing, and the mission to give back to deserving charities
The Tournament
The 2026 Greater Toledo Classic returns to Highland Meadows Golf Club July 17th-19th, bringing three days of world-class golf, community spirit, and charitable impact to the Toledo region. As an official event on the Epson Tour, the LPGA’s official qualifying tour, the tournament offers fans a chance to watch some of the game’s brightest rising stars compete before they reach golf’s biggest stage. In fact, Epson Tour alumni have gone on to earn more than 400 LPGA Tour victories and over 50 major championship titles.
Spectators can enjoy exciting competition and incredible shot making as players battle for prize money, valuable points, and opportunities to advance their careers on the road to the LPGA Tour. Adding to the excitement, Ohio native and 2025 champion Mia Hammond is expected to return to Highland Meadows to defend her title. Whether you’re a dedicated golf fan or simply looking for a memorable summer event, the Greater Toledo Classic offers an unforgettable experience as one of northwest Ohio’s longest running sporting traditions.

The Charities
The Greater Toledo Classic is more than just a golf tournament. Since its beginnings in 1984, the event has become one of northwest Ohio’s most beloved summer traditions while raising more than $14.6 million for over 200 children’s charities across northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. What started as a vision from Toledo native Judd Silverman has grown into a nationally recognized professional golf event, thanks to decades of support from local businesses, volunteers, sponsors, and passionate fans.
The charities that will be benefiting from the 2026 Greater Toledo Classic are the Jamie Farr Scholarship Fund administered by the Greater Toledo Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity: Women Build, Nationwide Children’s Hospital – Toledo, ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio.
Parking
General parking is located at Public Parking Lot B at 5002 Centennial Rd, Sylvania, OH 43560 with regular shuttles from the lot directly to the gate. Daily ($10) and weekly ($20) parking passes are available for purchase.
