Archbold, Ohio is a village in Fulton County, less than an hour’s drive west of Toledo from the Ohio Turnpike I-80/90. Archbold is recognized as the home of Sauder Village, a 235-acre complex that was the vision of entrepreneur, Erie Sauder, an inventor and furniture maker who founded Sauder Woodworking Company in 1934.
Sauder Village is a living history farm and museum featuring a pioneer village, hotel, restaurants, campground and retail shops. The on-site Barn Restaurant is popular with visitors for its classic home-style cooking and desserts.
