Unveiling of the World’s Largest Pickleball Sphere

A new landmark is coming to Toledo’s riverfront! Join Toledo Pickle on Thursday, August 13, at 10 a.m. for the unveiling of what is believed to be the world’s largest pickleball sphere.

Located along the Glass City Riverwalk, the one-of-a-kind pickleball sculpture was fabricated by Dean Ball and features artwork by Dean Davis as part of his 100 Works of Art initiative. The sculpture was conceived right here at Toledo Pickle and made possible through a partnership with Metroparks Toledo.

Pickleball is at the heart of Toledo Pickle, and this larger-than-life installation brings the sport to the riverfront in a way that is uniquely Toledo. Community members are invited to join Toledo Pickle for the unveiling and experience this new piece of public art for themselves.

Come celebrate a new addition to the Glass City Riverwalk and a fun, unexpected landmark that puts Toledo’s love of pickleball on full display.
