Toledo Mud Hens vs. Iowa Cubs | School Education Day | Game 2 of 6

The Toledo Mud Hens open their May schedule with a series against the Chicago Cubs’ AAA affiliate, the Iowa Cubs. The first of three School Education Days sees Fifth Third Field come alive during the day with the cheering of area schools. All students will go home with a Mud Hens school folder.

2025 Season Schedule
Weekends are for Mud Hens baseball. Thirty-nine of the 75 home games this season fall on weekend dates (13 Fridays, 13 Saturday and 13 Sundays). The Mud Hens are also home for several holidays in 2025, including Mother’s Day (May 11), Father’s Day (June 15), Memorial Day Weekend (May 23-25), and the week of Fourth of July (July 1-3).

The team plays at home against rival Columbus (Cleveland Guardians affiliate) 12 times (Opening Weekend, July 1-3 and August 12-17), against Iowa (Chicago Cubs affiliate) 12 times (April 8-13 and May 6-11), and against Louisville (Cincinnati Reds affiliate) 12 times (May 27 – June 1 and September 9-14). The last home game of the regular 2025 season is slated for Sunday, September 14.
