Sylvania Writes Out Loud: All-Genre Open Mic returns to downtown Sylvania with a new location at Erin Ann’s (5661 Main St.) as part of Red Bird Sylvania’s First Friday festivities. This monthly literary and creative event invites performers and audience members alike to enjoy an evening of diverse, community-driven expression.

Open to all genres and experience levels, Sylvania Writes Out Loud welcomes musicians, poets, comedians, storytellers, singers, and performers of all kinds. Whether you’re sharing original writing, spoken word, music, or performance art, this inclusive open mic celebrates creativity in all its forms.

Sign-up begins at 5:30 p.m., and guests are encouraged to enjoy Erin Ann’s menu of sandwiches, coffee, smoothies, juice, ice cream, and more while listening or participating. Come perform, support local creatives, or simply enjoy a vibrant night of arts and culture in downtown Sylvania.
