Skate with the Stars: New Year’s Resolution Skate

Start the new year strong – and in motion! On Friday, January 2, stop by The Ribbon at Glass City Metropark for the New Year’s Resolution Skate, a day to set your goals, lace up your skates, and glide into 2026. Whether you’re committing to staying active, spending more time outdoors, or just having more fun with friends, this is the perfect way to kick off your year.

The Ribbon ice skating trail will host daily public ice skating sessions.

Holidays at The Ribbon sessions are featured from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. | 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. | 3 – 5 p.m. | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. | 8 – 10 p.m.

Admission is $10 + $2 for skate rentals.

Picture yourself gathered with friends and family in a cozy heated cabana along The Ribbon, watching skaters glide by while you sip hot chocolate and share pizza together from The Garden. Cabana Village is one of Toledo’s favorite winter traditions.
