Join Toledo Opera for their first installation of the newly rebranded Opera ‘Round Town (formerly Opera Outdoors). They’re back for a series of pop-up live performances at community hubs throughout Toledo. This spring’s Opera ‘Round Town series is sponsored by iHeart Media, Inc., and is presented in partnership with Metroparks Toledo and ProMedica. Performances will take place on the front lawn of the Manor House at Wildwood Preserve Metropark. Please note, in the event of bad weather, Opera ‘Round Town will be moved inside the Manor House. Lawn chairs and/or picnic blankets are recommended.
Toledo Opera’s five 2024-25 Resident Artists — chosen from an international pool of more than 150 applicants for a one-year residency in Toledo — will perform iconic vocal selections from the classical repertoire, along with musical theater and other American standards. Toledo Opera’s 2024-25 Resident Artists are Sarah Rachel Bacani (soprano), Emily Cotten (mezzo soprano), Brady DelVecchio (tenor), Robbie Raso (baritone), and Alessandro “Alex” Rotundo (pianist).
