Mr. Libbey’s Birthday Celebration at the Libbey House

Celebrate the legacy of Toledo glass pioneer Edward Drummond Libbey at Mr. Libbey’s Birthday Celebration, a special free open house event at the historic Libbey House on Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Hosted by the Libbey House Foundation, this annual celebration invites visitors to explore all three floors of the beautifully restored Old West End mansion once owned by the influential glass industry leader and founder of the Toledo Museum of Art.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the historic home, learn about Libbey’s lasting impact on Toledo’s glass industry and arts community, and experience one of the city’s architectural treasures in the heart of the Old West End Historic District.

This free community event is a great way for history lovers, architecture enthusiasts, and visitors to connect with Toledo’s rich cultural heritage while honoring one of the city’s most important historical figures.
