Toledo Lucas County Public Library welcomes all to our concert series, Live at the Library, a series featuring musical talent as they tour the country. Lucy Kaplansky is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and “the troubadour laureate of modern city folk” (The Boston Globe). Known for her captivating voice and heartfelt lyrics, NPR has praised her music as “absolutely wonderful… utterly beautiful and affecting.”
Live at the Library, the Toledo Lucas County Public Library’s free monthly concert series, welcomes five singer-songwriters from the Midwest and Canada this spring and summer. The lineup features Lucy Kaplansky, Half Gringa, Joshua Davis, Julian Taylor, and Miss Emily. Live at the Library invites performing artists to take center stage in the Main Library Atrium as they tour the country. The concerts are free and open to the public, with refreshments available for purchase or donation to SAME Café.
Advance registration is encouraged but not required to attend Live at the Library performances. Visit toledolibrary.org/music to register.
Live at the Library is presented in partnership with SAME Café, a donation-based, fair exchange nonprofit restaurant that serves healthy food to everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
