The Toledo Club is honored to host the 9.11 Twin Tower Challenge, an event to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11 and to honor our first responders and military who continue to serve by climbing 110 flights of stairs, 2200 steps up, which represents the number of steps in the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers. Participants can complete the challenge all at one time or space their steps out beginning on September 1.
On Thursday, September 11, The Toledo Club will be holding an event that is open to the public where participants can complete all 2,200 stairs at one time at the club from 3-6 pm.
Participants that complete the fallen fire-fighters journey challenge are invited to The Toledo Club for a celebration on Thursday, September 11 at 6 pm in The Pub for light refreshments and time with friends. The celebration kicks off with the honor of “ringing the bell” to signify that the call was completed and to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This is a free event and open to any participants who pre-register and complete the challenge by September 11.
