The recent announcement of the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council 2024 Glass Problems Conference coming to Toledo this fall brings more positive news for the local glass industry.
The 85th iteration of the Glass Problems Conference takes place September 16-19 at the Glass City Center. The event will welcome over 500 glass professionals from around the world to The Glass City to take part in educational programming and networking. This conference announcement comes at an exciting time for the local glass industry, with the Northwest Ohio Innovation Consortium (NOIC) recently receiving a $31.3M state grant to develop an Innovation Hub and Center for Glass Excellence in the Toledo area.

The 2024 Glass Problems Conference and Symposium brings together decision makers, managers, and engineers from glass manufacturing companies for education and networking revolving around real world glass manufacturing issues and solutions. Areas of focus include melting, refractory, decarbonization, and machine learning.
