Bowling Green

The city of Bowling Green, Ohio is the county seat of Wood County, 30 minutes south of Toledo and home to Bowling Green State University. Being a city with a large university means there is much to see and do, from the very first wind farm in the state to museums, parks & trails, gardens, golf, bowling, theaters, art galleries, schoolhouses and a planetarium.

The downtown is bustling with activity including shops, restaurants and bars lining the quaint but busy streets, and Bowling Green plays host to many popular events each year.  The National Tractor Pull draws 60,000 people to the Wood County Fairgrounds each August and the Black Swamp Arts Festival takes over Main Street in September as artists display and sell a variety of artwork as music rocks from various stages attracting 40,000 visitors for the weekend.
